Responsibilities
- Develop and execute targeted social media campaigns for local Houston businesses
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis for Texas-based clients
- Create compelling content for blogs, email newsletters, and promotional materials
- Assist in organizing community events and promotional activations across Houston neighborhoods
- Track campaign performance using analytics tools and prepare weekly reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on integrated marketing strategies
- Support SEO optimization efforts for local business websites
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program in Marketing, Communications, or Business
- Basic proficiency with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
- Strong written communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Interest in Houston's local business ecosystem and community development
- Experience with Google Analytics or similar analytics tools preferred
- Available for 15-20 hours per week with flexible summer scheduling
