Our Kansas City office is centrally located near the Crossroads Arts District, offering easy access to public transportation and vibrant urban amenities. This 10-week program runs from June to August and includes weekly stipend opportunities. Students will work alongside senior strategists on local and regional initiatives, gaining insights into digital marketing trends, brand development, and consumer analytics.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns for Kansas City-based clients
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis targeting Missouri and Texas markets
- Create engaging content for social media platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- Support SEO initiatives and content optimization for local search visibility
- Collaborate on event planning and execution for Kansas City community outreach programs
- Analyze campaign performance data and prepare weekly progress reports
- Manage social media community engagement and respond to customer inquiries
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or associate degree program (any major)
- Basic knowledge of marketing principles and digital tools (Google Analytics, Canva)
- Strong written communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Interest in local Kansas City market dynamics and community engagement
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Available to work 20-30 hours per week during June-August 2024
