Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media campaigns across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities using Google Analytics and SEMrush
- Create compelling content (blog posts, videos, infographics) for digital platforms
- Assist in planning and executing local pop-up events at Virginia Beach venues
- Collaborate with design team on promotional materials and brand assets
- Track KPIs and generate weekly performance reports for leadership
- Participate in cross-departmental brainstorming sessions
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic graphic design tools (Canva)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with social media management platforms (Hootsuite/Sprout Social)
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Passion for Virginia Beach's local business community
- Available for full-time commitment (40 hrs/week) from June 1st to August 15th
