Responsibilities
- Assist in developing social media content calendars and campaigns for local clients
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis for Long Beach businesses
- Support email marketing initiatives and newsletter production
- Create engaging visual assets using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
- Track campaign performance metrics and prepare weekly reports
- Attend weekly strategy sessions with marketing department leads
- Participate in community outreach events with local partners
- Collaborate with interns from other departments on cross-functional projects
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university program
- Must be eligible to receive academic credit for internship completion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Interest in digital marketing, social media, or brand management
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week during summer months
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills
- Local to Long Beach or surrounding areas preferred
