Responsibilities
- Develop and execute hyperlocal social media campaigns targeting Austin neighborhoods
- Create SEO-optimized blog content for local business clients
- Analyze local market trends using Google Analytics and Sprout Social
- Coordinate pop-up events at Austin hotspots (e.g., Zilker Park, South Congress)
- Manage email marketing sequences for local service providers
- Track campaign performance and generate weekly performance reports
- Collaborate with graphic designers on local event promotions
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a 4-year college program (marketing/communications preferred)
- Must be eligible for academic credit through your institution
- Proficient in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)
- Basic SEO and Google Analytics knowledge
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Local Austin knowledge or willingness to explore neighborhoods
- Own reliable transportation for occasional client meetings
