Responsibilities
- System Monitoring: Monitor server health, network traffic, and application performance during off-hours to ensure zero downtime.
- Troubleshooting: Assist in diagnosing and resolving technical issues reported by the night support team.
- Data Management: Perform routine data entry, database backups, and log analysis to maintain data integrity.
- Documentation: Update technical documentation and runbooks to reflect current system configurations and procedures.
- Support: Provide basic technical support to internal stakeholders and assist in testing new software deployments.
- Security Audits: Assist in routine security checks and compliance verification for the night shift environment.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Basic understanding of networking concepts, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and database fundamentals.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) during the summer months.
- Skills: Familiarity with scripting languages (Python/Bash) or visualization tools is a plus.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
