Responsibilities
- Conduct nocturnal field data collection for coastal monitoring projects using GPS and survey equipment
- Analyze environmental samples in our state-of-the-art lab facility
- Assist senior engineers with night shift construction site monitoring and documentation
- Prepare daily progress reports and digital project documentation
- Participate in cross-departmental strategy sessions during overnight rotations
- Support emergency response protocols for coastal infrastructure incidents
- Maintain equipment calibration logs and inventory systems
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university program (engineering, environmental science, or related field)
- Availability for night shift work (minimum 20 hours/week)
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and GIS software
- Valid driver's license with clean record (for field site transportation)
- Ability to work independently in outdoor environments during nighttime hours
- Strong written communication skills for technical documentation
- Previous internship or volunteer experience preferred
