Responsibilities
- Monitor system performance and security alerts during night shifts using advanced monitoring tools
- Document and resolve technical incidents following SLA protocols
- Assist in deploying software updates and patches during maintenance windows
- Collaborate with global teams via communication platforms for cross-functional projects
- Contribute to system documentation and knowledge base updates
- Participate in weekly training sessions on emerging technologies
- Support disaster recovery simulations and system backup verification
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related program
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Experience with Linux/Windows command-line interfaces preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Available for 20-30 hours/week during summer/fall semester
