Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain server/network systems during night shifts to ensure 99.9% uptime
- Provide Tier 1/2 technical support for internal and external stakeholders
- Document incident reports and system performance metrics using JIRA
- Collaborate with global teams on cross-functional projects via Slack and MS Teams
- Execute scheduled system backups, updates, and security protocols
- Participate in agile sprint retrospectives and process improvement initiatives
- Train on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and automation tools
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Experience with Linux/Windows command line interfaces
- Strong problem-solving abilities with analytical mindset
- Availability for 20-30 hours/week on night shift schedule
- Flexible start date between June-September 2024
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's license (for occasional on-site rotations)
