Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts during night shift operations (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Document incident reports and maintain security audit trails
- Participate in penetration testing exercises under supervision
- Collaborate with global security teams on threat intelligence sharing
- Perform vulnerability scans and patch management verification
- Assist with SOC (Security Operations Center) rotations
- Develop automation scripts for security monitoring workflows
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related program
- Basic knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Familiarity with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) preferred
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
- Valid driver's license for occasional on-site rotations
- Available for 20-30 hours/week during summer/fall term
