Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms during overnight shifts
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Assist in incident response protocols for security breaches

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on threat intelligence projects
- Participate in mock cyber drills and tabletop exercises
- Configure and test firewall rules and network security devices
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related program
- Basic knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Familiarity with Linux/Windows command-line interfaces
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance (if applicable)
