Responsibilities
- Monitor server performance and network traffic during off-peak hours to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of hardware and software issues for internal users.
- Perform routine system maintenance, patching, and security updates.
- Document technical incidents, resolutions, and operational procedures in our ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure seamless workflow transitions.
- Conduct basic user training sessions and provide technical support guidance.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Availability to work night shifts (e.g., 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM) during the summer and fall semesters.
- Basic understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex problems independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
