Responsibilities
- Design user-centered interfaces for mobile/web applications using Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Conduct user research sessions and synthesize insights into actionable design recommendations
- Create interactive prototypes and conduct usability testing with real users
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement design systems and maintain design consistency
- Present design solutions to stakeholders and iterate based on feedback
- Document design decisions and contribute to our design knowledge base
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning ceremonies
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in UX Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ user-centered design projects with process documentation
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or similar prototyping tools
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and responsive design principles
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and user empathy
- Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced environments
- Available for 12-16 weeks starting Summer 2023 (June-August) with flexible Fall extension
- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
