Responsibilities
- SEO Optimization: Assist in conducting keyword research and on-page SEO audits to improve organic search rankings for our portfolio of clients.
- Content Strategy: Collaborate with the content team to draft blog posts, social media copy, and press releases that resonate with target audiences.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor website traffic and engagement metrics using Google Analytics; prepare weekly performance reports for the marketing manager.
- Social Media Management: Manage daily posting schedules across LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram, engaging with followers and monitoring trends.
- Technical Support: Support the web development team with basic HTML/CSS updates and ensure website compliance with accessibility standards.
- Market Research: Analyze competitor strategies and industry trends to identify new growth opportunities for the company.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (Sophomore standing or higher preferred).
- Credit: Must be eligible to receive academic credit for internship work.
- Skills: Basic understanding of SEO principles, social media platforms, and digital marketing concepts.
- Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with tools like Google Analytics or Hootsuite is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote-capable hybrid environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time (35-40 hours) during the summer months with flexibility for occasional meetings.
