As a summer intern, you'll dive into agile development cycles, contribute to production code, and gain exposure to cloud technologies. Positions available in both Denver, CO and Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities
- Develop and test software modules using Java, Python, and cloud services (AWS/Azure)
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews with senior engineers
- Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services into existing applications
- Debug and optimize application performance using monitoring tools
- Document technical specifications and contribute to our knowledge base
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to implement responsive frontend solutions
- Present project milestones to stakeholders and gather feedback
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java/Python preferred)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with relational databases (SQL) and basic web technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while thriving in collaborative environments
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
