Responsibilities
- Develop and test software modules for maritime tracking systems using Python and JavaScript
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement RESTful APIs and microservices
- Debug and optimize existing codebase using Agile methodologies
- Document technical specifications and create user-friendly documentation
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions
- Contribute to open-source projects related to IoT in logistics
- Present project outcomes to stakeholders during bi-weekly reviews
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes
- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Available for full-time commitment (40 hrs/week) from June to August
