Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain microservices using Python/Java in cloud environments (AWS/GCP)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design REST APIs and backend systems
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate testing workflows
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning ceremonies
- Present project progress to stakeholders bi-weekly
- Optimize application performance and security protocols
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++)
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills and algorithm knowledge
- Experience with web technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) a plus
- Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
- Available for 12-16 weeks starting June or August 2023
