Responsibilities
- Develop and test features for cloud-based SaaS applications using Python and AWS
- Collaborate with senior engineers on agile development cycles using Jira and Git
- Debug and optimize existing code for performance improvements
- Create technical documentation and API specifications
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices
- Present project progress during sprint review meetings
- Support QA processes including unit testing and integration testing
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Computer Science, Engineering, or related degree
- Proficiency in Python and JavaScript (React/Node.js experience a plus)
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with Git version control and agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Available for full-time commitment (40 hrs/week) through summer/fall
