Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize microservices using Python, Java, or Go
- Implement CI/CD pipelines in AWS/GCP environments
- Write unit/integration tests with 90%+ coverage
- Debug production issues using distributed tracing tools
- Contribute to open-source projects with 50+ contributors
- Present technical findings to cross-functional teams
- Mentor junior interns on best practices
- Participate in hackathons with $10K prize pool
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ months experience with at least one modern programming language
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong problem-solving skills demonstrated through competitive coding
- Available for 12-16 weeks between June-September 2023
- GPA 3.5+ preferred (exceptional candidates considered)
- Portfolio showcasing 2+ significant projects
- Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
