Responsibilities
- Develop and test software components using Java/Python in cloud environments
- Collaborate on DevOps pipelines using Docker and Kubernetes
- Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-up ceremonies
- Create technical documentation and API specifications
- Debug and optimize existing codebase for performance
- Present project milestones to cross-functional teams
- Contribute to open-source initiatives with mentor guidance
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Computer Science or related degree (Sophomore-Junior level)
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript frameworks
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Basic understanding of version control (Git)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Available for 20-40 hours/week during Summer/Fall 2024
- Must have authorization to work in the US
