Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize microservices using Java/Python in AWS/GCP environments
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline automation using Jenkins and Docker
- Write unit/integration tests with JUnit and PyTest frameworks
- Analyze performance metrics and implement optimization solutions
- Document technical specifications and API documentation
- Participate in agile sprint planning and daily standups
- Present project findings to engineering leadership
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript)
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) fundamentals
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git/GitHub)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Available to work 20-30 hours/week through Fall 2024
- Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
