Responsibilities
- Develop and test scalable cloud applications using Python and AWS
- Collaborate on AI/ML model deployment and optimization projects
- Participate in agile sprint cycles with daily stand-ups and retrospectives
- Contribute to open-source initiatives with version control best practices
- Present technical findings to cross-functional teams
- Maintain clean, well-documented code following industry standards
- Shadow senior engineers on production issue resolution
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in Python and at least one other programming language (Java/C++)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) or containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Experience with Git and agile development methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Available for 3-4 months during summer/fall 2024
- US citizenship or valid work authorization required
- Portfolio or GitHub repository demonstrating projects
