Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of high-quality software applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Python, JavaScript, or Java under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Designers, and QA engineers.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Debug and troubleshoot existing codebases to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Contribute to technical documentation and code reviews to ensure best practices.
- Research emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to team challenges.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Must be available to work full-time (35-40 hours/week) during the summer months (June – August).
- Strong foundational knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Familiarity with at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, C++).
- Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) or back-end development is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude toward learning new technologies.
