Responsibilities
- Development: Write clean, scalable, and efficient code in Python, Java, or JavaScript under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Testing & QA: Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including unit testing, code reviews, and debugging.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, API specs, and user guides to ensure knowledge transfer.
- Collaboration: Attend daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions to contribute to project timelines and deliverables.
- Research: Conduct research on emerging technologies and best practices to propose innovative solutions to existing problems.
- Deployment: Assist in deploying applications to cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and monitoring system performance.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- GPA: Minimum 3.0/4.0 GPA (if currently attending college).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++) and experience with databases (SQL).
- Tools: Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and modern development frameworks (React, Node.js, or Django).
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude toward learning.
- Availability: Ability to commit to a full-time summer internship (12-14 weeks) or a fall semester schedule.
