Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using JavaScript, React, and Node.js
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions
- Participate in Agile development cycles including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Write clean, efficient code and conduct thorough unit testing
- Contribute to API development and integration with cloud services (AWS/Azure)
- Document technical specifications and maintain code repositories
- Present project progress and solutions to technical stakeholders
- Optimize applications for performance and security best practices
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and at least one backend language (Python/Java)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with RESTful APIs and database systems (SQL/NoSQL)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in team environments
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Available for full-time commitment (40 hours/week) from June-August
