Your Role
As a Summer Intern at Nexus Innovations, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test software solutions that solve complex business problems.
Responsibilities
- Develop & Test: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for web and mobile applications using Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Debug & Optimize: Identify bottlenecks in existing codebases and propose optimization strategies to improve performance.
- Collaborate: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews with the engineering team.
- Research: Stay updated on industry trends and apply new technologies to current projects.
- Documentation: Create technical documentation and API specifications to support team development efforts.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript).
- Tools: Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and agile methodologies.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts.
- Availability: Must be available for a full-time summer schedule (40 hours/week) and local to the Dallas area.
