Responsibilities
- Develop and test scalable web applications using React, Node.js, and AWS
- Contribute to open-source projects under senior engineer guidance
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning ceremonies
- Optimize database performance and implement RESTful APIs
- Conduct code reviews and documentation of technical specifications
- Present project progress to stakeholders during bi-weekly showcases
- Collaborate on CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins and Docker
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Computer Science or related degree (Sophomore-Senior)
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python
- Familiarity with Git, Agile methodologies, and cloud platforms
- Strong problem-solving skills with algorithmic thinking
- Portfolio demonstrating personal or academic projects
- Available for 20-40 hours/week for 10-12 weeks
- Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
