Responsibilities
- Development Support: Assist senior developers in designing, coding, and testing software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Code Review: Participate in code reviews and documentation processes to ensure high-quality software standards are maintained.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Designers, and QA Engineers to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Debugging & Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve software bugs and technical issues to improve system stability and performance.
- Learning & Growth: Attend daily stand-ups, technical training sessions, and workshops to enhance your technical skillset and industry knowledge.
- Project Management: Support project planning activities and contribute to sprint planning and retrospective meetings.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Graduating in 2024 or 2025.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript) and experience with web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js).
- Tools: Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and database management (SQL).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Work Ethic: Proactive attitude, strong problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to learn in a dynamic team setting.
- Availability: Ability to work a minimum of 20-30 hours per week during the summer months.
