Responsibilities
- Development & Coding: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for web and mobile applications under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Designers, and QA to define, build, and test features.
- Agile Participation: actively engage in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings to ensure project milestones are met.
- Problem Solving: Debug and troubleshoot existing codebases, identifying performance bottlenecks and implementing solutions.
- Testing: Assist in the creation of unit tests and integration tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing platforms.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (rising Junior or Senior preferred).
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Languages: Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C++).
- Tools: Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude toward learning.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time (35+ hours/week) for the Summer/Fall duration.
