Responsibilities
- Assist Development: Collaborate with senior developers to design, code, and test software solutions for client projects.
- Code Maintenance: Review existing codebases to identify bugs, improve efficiency, and ensure code quality standards.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, API specifications, and user manuals.
- Agile Participation: Attend daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, and code reviews within an Agile/Scrum framework.
- Testing: Execute unit and integration tests to validate software functionality and performance.
- Research: Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to technical challenges.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Eligibility: Must be eligible to receive college credit for the internship program.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C#). Understanding of HTML/CSS and SQL is a plus.
- Academic Standing: A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Availability: Ability to start work immediately and commit to a full-time summer schedule (40 hours/week).
