Responsibilities
- Contribute to Development: Assist senior engineers in designing, coding, and testing new software features and applications.
- Collaborate in Agile: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews within our Agile development team.
- Debug & Troubleshoot: Identify and fix bugs in existing codebases, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
- Documentation: Write clear, concise technical documentation and maintain project logs.
- Research & Learn: Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in software development.
- Team Support: Support the wider engineering department with various technical tasks and data analysis.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of programming languages (Python, Java, or C# preferred) and data structures.
- Tools: Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and SQL databases.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the summer months (May through August).
