This paid part-time internship (20-25 hrs/week) offers flexible scheduling to accommodate your academic calendar. You'll work in our downtown Chicago office, collaborating with engineers and product managers to build innovative solutions. Perfect for rising juniors/seniors pursuing Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and testing software applications using Python and JavaScript
- Contribute to UX research initiatives through user testing and data analysis
- Support agile development processes including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Create technical documentation and API integration guides
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings and hackathons
- Shadow senior engineers on cloud infrastructure projects (AWS/Azure)
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Basic proficiency in at least one programming language (Python/Java/C++)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Available to work 20-25 hours/week from June to August 2024
- Experience with Git/GitHub or version control systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
