Responsibilities
- Assist in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for client networks
- Develop security monitoring scripts using Python and Bash
- Document security protocols and create incident response documentation
- Participate in threat intelligence analysis and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security audits
- Research emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies
- Present findings to senior cybersecurity analysts
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Basic knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Familiarity with Linux/Windows command-line environments
- Experience with scripting languages (Python preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Available to work 20-40 hours/week through Summer/Fall 2023
