Responsibilities
- Develop and test software applications using modern programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript)
- Collaborate in agile teams to build responsive web and mobile applications
- Analyze and optimize data pipelines using SQL and cloud platforms
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to documentation standards
- Research emerging technologies and present innovation proposals
- Support QA testing and deployment processes for production systems
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong programming fundamentals with experience in at least one major language
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Problem-solving skills demonstrated through academic projects or competitions
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Interest in Detroit's tech ecosystem and community innovation
- Availability for 12-20 hours/week during summer term
