Responsibilities
- Assist in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Develop security monitoring scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Analyze malware behavior and document findings
- Participate in incident response simulations
- Create security documentation and technical reports
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on secure deployment practices
- Present project findings to engineering leadership
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related degree
- Basic knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Familiarity with Linux/Windows command-line environments
- Experience with at least one programming language (Python preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Available for full-time summer commitment (May-August)
- Must have authorization to work in the US
