Responsibilities
- Develop and test software solutions for marine monitoring systems
- Analyze oceanographic data using Python and R programming languages
- Assist in designing IoT sensor networks for environmental tracking
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on agile development cycles
- Document technical specifications and create user documentation
- Participate in weekly innovation hackathons and tech showcases
- Present project progress to senior stakeholders and technical mentors
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar programming languages
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) or containerization (Docker)
- Basic understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in collaborative team settings
- Enthusiasm for marine technology and environmental sustainability
- Available for 3-6 months starting June 2023
