Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms during night shift operations
- Document incident reports and escalate critical threats to senior analysts
- Conduct vulnerability scans and penetration testing exercises
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security infrastructure improvements
- Participate in 24/7 security rotation drills and tabletop exercises
- Maintain compliance documentation for regulatory standards
- Assist in developing automation scripts for security workflows
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs)
- Familiarity with security tools (Wireshark, Nmap, Metasploit)
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for night commute
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred
- Experience with Linux/Windows command-line interfaces
