Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and testing software applications using Java and Python
- Support data analysis initiatives using SQL and Tableau
- Collaborate on UX/UI design sprints with product teams
- Document technical processes and create user documentation
- Participate in agile development ceremonies and code reviews
- Research emerging tech trends and present findings to the team
- Contribute to open-source projects under mentorship
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Basic proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript)
- Enrollment in a Houston-area university or college
- Availability to work 20-25 hours/week from June to August 2024
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with version control (Git) preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Must have legal authorization to work in the US
