Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in developing and testing wireless communication protocols
- Contribute to IoT device firmware optimization and performance analysis
- Participate in agile development cycles and sprint planning
- Document technical specifications and create project documentation
- Present findings to cross-functional teams during weekly reviews
- Support AI model training for Qualcomm's Neural Processing SDK
- Collaborate with university partners on sponsored research initiatives
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Proficient in Python, C++, or Java programming languages
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems and Git version control
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work 20-30 hours per week during summer months
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
