What you'll do:
• Collaborate with senior developers to design, code, and test software solutions.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings.
• Assist in debugging and optimizing existing codebases.
• Create technical documentation and user guides.
• Support QA testing and quality assurance processes.
Who we're looking for:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software development life cycles.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C++).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical team members.
• Must be available to work full-time during the summer months.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the full software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Debug and resolve technical issues reported by the QA team.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Document technical specifications and user manuals.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) or back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, Java) is a plus.
- Familiarity with database management systems (SQL, NoSQL).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn new technologies quickly.
