Responsibilities
- Support classroom activities and assist lead educators with daily lesson plans
- Engage children in age-appropriate learning experiences and play activities
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment
- Participate in weekend family events and community outreach programs
- Document children's progress and contribute to developmental assessments
- Collaborate with staff to implement summer curriculum themes
- Assist with administrative tasks including attendance tracking and supply management
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in high school or college (students welcome)
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) during summer months
- Basic understanding of child development principles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (training provided)
- Passion for working with children and community involvement
- Must be 16+ years old
