Responsibilities
- Design and implement smart microgrid systems integrating solar, wind, and battery storage technologies
- Develop AI-driven energy optimization algorithms for dynamic grid balancing
- Lead feasibility studies for large-scale renewable energy projects in urban environments
- Conduct lifecycle analysis and carbon footprint assessments for energy infrastructure
- Collaborate with municipal governments on policy frameworks for sustainable energy adoption
- Prototype next-gen energy harvesting systems using advanced materials science
- Mentor cross-functional teams on sustainable engineering best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Renewable Energy Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years experience in energy grid design or sustainable infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in energy modeling software (HOMER, EnergyPlus, or equivalent)
- Expertise in IoT integration for smart grid monitoring and control systems
- Certification in Energy Management (CEM) or LEED AP required
- Demonstrated experience with carbon offset methodologies and ESG reporting
- Strong background in Python/R for energy data analysis and visualization
- Prior experience with utility-scale renewable project implementation
