Job Overview
We are seeking detail-oriented and tech-savvy students to join our growing IT Support team. As an intern, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our infrastructure and assisting our diverse client base with technical inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network connectivity issues in real-time.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in the IT Service Management database.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement new software patches and updates.
- Participate in system audits and hardware inventory management.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and network protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Must be available to work 15-20 hours per week during the semester.
- Enthusiastic learner with a proactive attitude towards new technologies.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends or overtime during peak periods.
