Responsibilities
- Development Support: Assist the engineering team in designing, coding, and testing software components under the guidance of senior developers.
- Debugging & QA: Identify and fix bugs in existing codebases and participate in Quality Assurance testing processes.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including API documentation and code comments, ensuring clarity for the team.
- Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups and code reviews to communicate progress and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Research: Stay updated on emerging technologies and tools relevant to our tech stack and propose innovative solutions.
- Deployment: Support the deployment of applications to production environments using CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C#) and a basic understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Tools: Familiarity with version control systems like Git and basic knowledge of SQL databases.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues and think critically to solve complex problems.
- Availability: Ability to commit to 20-30 hours per week during the semester and full-time during breaks.
