Responsibilities
- Code Development: Assist in designing, coding, and testing software components and applications under the guidance of senior developers.
- Debugging & Optimization: Analyze existing code to identify bugs, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Documentation: Write clear and concise technical documentation, including API documentation and code comments.
- Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews within a cross-functional Agile team.
- Research: Investigate new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance our product offerings.
- Testing: Perform unit and integration testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Programming Proficiency: Solid understanding of at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C++).
- Web Fundamentals: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time (35-40 hours/week) for the duration of the summer (May – August 2024).
