Responsibilities
- Develop functional web/mobile applications using React, Python, and cloud technologies (AWS/GCP)
- Collaborate in agile teams to deliver iterative solutions for real client projects
- Conduct UX research and create wireframes for fintech/healthcare applications
- Analyze large datasets using SQL and Python to generate actionable insights
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings
- Present project outcomes to stakeholders and executive leadership
- Maintain clean, documented code following industry best practices
- Contribute to innovation workshops for emerging tech trends (AI/Blockchain)
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Computer Science, UX Design, Data Science, or related program
- Basic proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or SQL (school projects acceptable)
- Portfolio showcasing 2+ relevant projects (GitHub, Behance, or personal website)
- Availability for 20-30 hours/week during academic semester
- Strong problem-solving skills demonstrated through academic or personal projects
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Interest in Kansas City's tech ecosystem (local candidates preferred)
