Responsibilities
- Assist in design and prototyping of mechanical systems using CAD software
- Conduct research and analysis for product improvement initiatives
- Support testing and validation of engineering solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project deliverables
- Document technical processes and prepare engineering reports
- Participate in design reviews and innovation workshops
- Support sustainability initiatives in product development
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial)
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD preferred)
- Basic knowledge of MATLAB or Python for data analysis
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work 20-40 hours/week with flexible scheduling
- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Available to start between June-September 2023
- Portfolio or academic projects demonstrating engineering aptitude
