Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications under the guidance of senior developers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, QA) to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for web and mobile platforms.
- Conduct code reviews and participate in agile sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
- Analyze system performance issues and propose optimization strategies.
- Document technical specifications and user manuals for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of programming fundamentals (Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript).
- Familiarity with database management systems (SQL, MongoDB) and version control tools (Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Must be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) for the duration of the summer program (June - August).
