Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1-2 technical support to staff and clients via phone, email, and remote assistance
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware/software systems including Windows/Linux environments
- Document IT procedures and create knowledge base articles for team reference
- Assist with network monitoring, security audits, and system backups
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special technology projects
- Participate in weekend on-call rotation for critical incident response
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Computer Science, IT, or related program (preferred junior/senior status)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, OS fundamentals, and security protocols
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and helpdesk ticketing systems
- Strong problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 8am-5pm)
- CompTIA A+/Network+ certification or equivalent coursework preferred
