As a Weekend Intern, you will support our marketing team in executing local events, managing social media content, and analyzing consumer data. We are looking for candidates who are self-motivated, eager to learn, and ready to make an impact on our brand presence in the Pacific Northwest.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of local weekend marketing events and promotional activities.
- Monitor social media channels to engage with the community and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
- Conduct market research and analyze local competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Update and maintain the company’s internal CRM database with accurate prospect information.
- Create and edit visual content for social media posts, newsletters, and promotional materials using basic design tools.
- Support the sales team during weekend shifts by providing product demonstrations and handling customer transactions.
- Compile weekly performance reports and present findings to the senior marketing team.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) for the duration of the internship.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional tone.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook) and content creation.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local event attendance.
